Are you a motivated and experienced professional in the field of landscaping? Do you possess leadership skills and a strong understanding of horticulture practices? We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Landscape Foreman with an irrigation certificate to lead and manage our groundskeeping teams.

Role Overview:
As a Landscape Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of outdoor spaces. Your responsibilities will include managing and training teams, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, supervising equipment use, and performing administrative duties. We are particularly interested in candidates who are bilingual and hold an irrigation certificate, as these qualifications will greatly contribute to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and delegate tasks to groundskeeping teams, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.

Recruit, train, and onboard new crew members to maintain a skilled workforce.

Monitor project progress, provide recommendations for improvements, and ensure timely completion.

Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations among all crew members.

Oversee landscape design and construction projects to achieve desired outcomes.

Supervise the proper use of pesticides, fertilizers, and chemicals, considering environmental and safety concerns.

Conduct regular inventory checks and equipment inspections to ensure operational readiness.

Prepare and maintain documents such as spreadsheets, reports, and project records.

Provide accurate estimates for costs, materials, equipment, and project timelines.

Schedule and facilitate training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in landscaping, with a focus on both design and maintenance.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish for effective communication with diverse teams would be an added bonus.

Possession of a valid irrigation certificate, demonstrating expertise in irrigation systems.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide, motivate, and manage teams effectively.

In-depth knowledge of horticulture practices, including plant care and soil management.

Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to think creatively and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear instructions and reports.

Proficiency in using relevant software for document preparation and record keeping.
