Golf Course Superintendent — Comanche Trace (Kerrville)

Comanche Trace is a private, 1,300 acre master-planned community boasting 27-holes of award winning, premium Hill Country golf with the best course conditions in the state, designed by golf course architects who know how to accentuate the native terrain for the ultimate golf experience.   Tom Kite, along with Roy Bechtol and Randy Russell, designed the first 18, The Valley and The Hills, utilizing the exquisite Hill Country terrain, which is blessed with majestic oaks. Lakes and streams were also incorporated along with the best bent grass greens in the state.

Jay and Carter Morrish designed a series of streams and lakes that meander around the third 9, The Creeks, which opened in July of 2008.   The creeks build upon the use of the native terrain so that all three nines play well together but are each unique, challenging and fun.

Our 27-hole golf course appeals to and challenges enthusiasts of every age and ability, with Kerrville and the Texas Hill Country offering a remarkable climate that allows for great golf twelve months out of the year.
